Why Kettlebell Exercises Are Very Efficient For Your Training Regimen

By Greg Diener

Want a great workout that combines endurance training, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance all in one, without purchasing expensive machines to do it? Then look no further because Kettlebell training is the workout for you. It's an all in one workout and all you have to do is lift weights. Now I know what you're thinking, "wait you said it is also a cardio work out, if I wanted to lift weights I'd buy dumbbells." Well, Kettlebell is different than dumbbells, and you will get a cardio workout. Kettlebell exercises combine all 5 workouts in one. The key is in its design.

Kettlebells are cast iron weights, starting from 5 lbs. to over 100 lbs., sized like a ball with a handle for easy gripping. The idea of kettlebell workouts are that you hold the kettlebell in one or both hands and go through a mixture of swings, presses, or pulling motions. Some of the moves have you changing the weight from hand to hand as the weight swings up or as you move laterally. That necessitates you to stabilize your body and engage the core in a whole new way. Other moves require power from the legs and hips to move the weight, giving you integrated whole body movements that are often missing with other types of training and also giving you cardio.

Using these roundly shaped weights are going to provide a better alternative than working with dumbbells. The kettlebell will give you more traction than using a dumbbell. They make you feel more relaxed when using them and you will have a quicker workout. Having kettlebells in your workout arsenal will give you a much needed exercise piece in your personal gymnasium.

Kettlebell exercises use energy for the other training exercises so that you don't have to grab expensive pieces of equipment for cardio; or cut out four hours out of your day to do eighteen different exercises to get the same results. It's a low cost, low technology (because there just weights), and you will get a more demanding workout for a portion of the time. In fact if you did want to buy more than the weights and you didn't mind the extra tech; then you could buy the exercise DVD's. Other than that, there isn't much technology demanded.

So if you want a workout that has minimal technical specifications, which mixes endurance training, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance, that will benefit control and agility, and so many several things; then the Kettlebell workouts are the workouts for you. Get now!
